The Ambassadorial Team was established in August 1995 as a select network of students chosen to stand as representatives of Nanyang Polytechnic. Working with pride and professionalism, team members have the opportunity to hone their teamwork, leadership and organizational skills by engaging in events ranging from scholastic functions to external duties.
Aside from assisting with events held by other organizations, ambassadors organize their own events, such as the annual Kick It Soccer Tournament, as well as have the freedom to propose new events they wish to see on campus, such as the member-initiated Lights Out! And Racial Harmony Celebrations.
We adopt a holistic approach to developing our members, participating in both formal and informal duties. Furthermore, with internal gatherings to promote bonding, ambassadors have a strong sense of commitment to NYP as well as our friends in the team.
